My Students

What makes my students special is that they are an amazing community! I am incredibly lucky this year to be part of this loving and supportive group of amazing learners. This year hasn't been the easiest due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and they really have made their best effort to support everyone around them.

My students show kindness and patience with each other on a daily basis.

They never fail to make sure everyone is included, which impresses me so much! We discuss safe and healthy communities and they have taken this to heart. I've never had a set of students show this much support for each other!

My Project

The tablets that I have requested will help my students' academic learning in light of COVID-19 by helping them be engaged at school and not focused on the stresses happening behind the scenes currently. Our classroom uses Chromebooks for technology; however, there are some limitations. I would like to incorporate small group sets of tablets to encourage engaging activities such as stop motion videos for science and recording "advertisements" for topics that we are learning about.

I would love to provide my students with a way to be engaged in class that helps them with the stresses of attending school and being away from families during this pandemic.

Being able to work together with a partner or a small group to create fun and engaging materials will keep this little community of learners focused and happy!
