My Students

Our school is a family. Each staff member is an active stakeholder in our students' education. Our students are high poverty and are English language learners. There is diversity in our school in which culture flourishes and children discover new traditions.

Our students are lifelong learners that will use new knowledge to inspire themselves and each other.

It is truly amazing to see ideas grow through classroom discussion and inquiry. All of our students are ready each day to learn together.

My Project

STEM is all the buzz, and rightfully so. This exciting curriculum-based idea is educating students in four areas: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These subject areas are combined to make an exciting new approach to learning. The snap circuit kits are very interactive and easy to use. Students lead instruction and discovery with the variety of snap circuit kits within our classroom project. Creating a buzz with STEM learning leads to more student engagement. Ownership of learning objectives and personal goals is key. Students are encouraged to build, build, build , build! With these STEM kits the opportunities are endless for students!
