This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are creating an interactive super station rotation. Our classroom is a special needs room that has a focus on life skills. These materials will help our classroom with gaining independence while increasing their life skills. Our students rely on learning life skills that can help them in life. We plan on using these stations to simulate real life situations to make them better prepared. We chose items that are easy to recreate in our daily life. Many of our students love to go out to eat, but freeze when it's time to either order or pay. The register will help us role play in the classroom. We chose materials that our students would find most interactive and fun, but still challenging. Our hope is that we can create stations at the kiddos love but also learn a ton from!
