Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Not having enough chart paper and trying to use dried out markers is a real problem.
My students are children who are excited to be in third grade and ready for new and interesting lessons, even though several are struggling academically.
They attend a public school in an urban setting. Many of the children live within walking distance and travel to and from school by themselves.
My Project
I am requesting resources that will affect our classroom environment. The pocket charts will be used to highlight important word lists and messages for the students. The management chart and the candy treats will provide reinforcement of positive behavior. Chart paper and markers are used daily with almost every lesson. Students love to show off their work, so we would use the fadeless paper and trimmers to decorate the bulletins boards that display their work.
Donations to this project would help to create a well managed, and productive classroom.
My students would have the materials needed to complete assignments and prepare them to be shared with others on classroom bulletin boards.
