I have some of the hardest working students around! My students spend the whole school year growing, from only knowing letters and numbers to reading books and creating math problems. My classroom is my second family and I believe they feel that way too.
I teach at a Title 1 school where over 70% of our students are from low income families and where 100% of our students receive free lunch and breakfast.
My students are eager to come to school and learn new things everyday!
My Project
The use of daily SMART board activities keeps the students engaged all throughout the day. Purchasing these CDs will add to the small selection our classroom already has. The students love working on the SMART board and touching it to solve answers for math and reading questions.
The students LOVE to work on the SMART board because it is a lot more fun than paper work, AND they are still learning!
The activities can be used for whole group practice on the carpet. They can also be used when students are in small groups. Once they learn the activity they can do it independently or with a small group when I am working with other students.
The software activities that I have chosen will meet my low, medium and high students in both reading and math. These CD software games will help engage my students and help their scores grow.
