This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Big words mean big ideas in my class. My students need to see bigger than life charts to help them get into the learning.

My students need a lot of support to get involved with the learning tasks they face.

They all struggle with learning disabilities and any extra support they get increases their ability to learn new ideas. We have lots of technology to help but we like low-tech too.

My Project

Something as simple as big paper can make a huge difference in their achievement. Vocabulary words, math rules and writing examples will inspire them to do their own projects. They will write stories, conduct experiments, read picture books and novels, as well as just feel better about themselves.

As small as big paper may seem, it will definitely make a huge difference in the learning of my students.

It's just one way they will get the upper hand in the big wide world ahead of them.
