Kindergarten is an age of wonder, discovery, and fun. My kindergarten students are full of life and love. They are a compassionate, caring, inclusive little community of children who love to learn, read, play, and help others. My students and I are lucky to be at the newest elementary school in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, with mountain views out of every window. Because the school is so new, I am still collecting all of the resources needed to build a truly engaging classroom.
My energetic kindergartners are also always on the go, ready to learn and try new things!
They love to learn by doing. I am constantly on the lookout for new, hands-on learning opportunities to keep my enthusiastic little learners engaged.
My Project
Kindergarten children come into the classroom with a wide variety of needs. Many of my little ones need extra support building fine motor skills needed for writing, drawing, and cutting. Others just need options for extra space to sit, lay, or wiggle.
My wiggly little ones will benefit from tools to help them focus, get their wiggles out and to develop fine motor skills needed for life long learning.
Wobble chairs, wobble cushions, additional rugs, and scoop chairs will help my students be so much more happy and successful in school. Fun tools for building fine motor skills like play dough and sculpting toys, big tweezers, and wider pencils will make working towards developing these learning skills much more engaging.
