Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are compassionate, hard working, energetic and kind. They show up everyday and put their best foot forward in the classroom. My students use a variety of online learning resources for both math and reading instruction, therefore, the new headphones I am hoping to get them will greatly enhance their learning experience!

The students in my class deserve to be recognized for showing up and working hard.

I implement a number of positive behavior and attendance incentives in my classroom to recognize my students. I am hoping to get some new prizes for my weekly treasure chest so that my students have something to look forward to each week.

Finally, I am hoping to update my classroom with new resources such as sticky circles for my guided reading table, timers, and lights to help me create a visual voice level chart for my students.
