My Students

My students live in a small community. Some parents are able to support the classrooms but the majority of the time, teachers are left to financially support their classrooms themselves. I want to provide these students with all the supplies and tools they will need to be successful this year.

My students are hard workers and come to school everyday ready to learn.

They are excited and curious to learn about all the new opportunities our classroom has to offer.

My Project

Scholastic Magazine will be used in many ways in my second grade classroom. This magazine will be a stellar resource for students to learn about current events, science topics and be engaged in their learning!

The magazine will give my students the opportunity to learn about news events around the world and science topics they will become experts at.

The magazine provides an opportunity for my students to learn about different topics around the world and see how they are related to math, science and social studies. The website connected with the magazine is a great resource because students can watch video's about the monthly topics.

As a class we will be able to better understand different events that are happening all around us.
