Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students walk into school with beautiful smiles and are eager to learn. I want to provide them with the best tools possible to be successful. My school is a dual-language elementary school with a focus on nurturing bilingual, bi-literate, and multicultural children.
Many of the students come from very low-income homes, one-parent households, and it is unbelievable the hurdles they have been able to overcome.
With your support, these students will grow up to be bilingual, responsible, and caring community leaders.
My Project
My kindergarteners have super reading and writing powers. They use these superpowers to sound out words, to read, and write sentences.
My students are true superheroes, but even superheroes need their special tools and gadgets to make them even stronger.
That's where we need your help!
We need supplies that will help us enrich our students learning and help them see how much fun learning can be. The Alphabet elephants will be used to practice putting the alphabet in order and to create words. The word crayons and cupcake letters will be used to physically build words, which is an essential skill to master in order to be able to write sentences in Kindergarten. All of these centers will be used to by our students at all different levels.
Lastly, we will use the tray baskets to keep all of the materials separated and organized so that everyone is able to stay safe and germ free.
Your donations will help my students have these essential supplies to master reading and writing skills. This will help my students have what they need to be engaged and be active learners. We appreciate your support in any classroom you support! You are a superhero!
