My Students

My students are ready to be blown away with great literature in the classroom.

I have amazing students that are ready to learn and grow throughout the year.

I have a full class of 31 eager 4th graders who can't wait to learn and dig deeper into their education.

The school that I am at is a neighborhood school, so many kids walk or ride their bikes to school. The school is a Title I school with free and reduced-price lunch.

My Project

How did we become "good" readers? One way is by listening to good readers-READ! By reading "Superfudge" books in my classroom as a class read aloud, this will allow my students to continue to listen to a good reader-ME!

Listening and following along will help my students hear how changing voices for characters, stopping during intense parts of the book, or getting loud to increase the excitement that the author is expressing in the story will bring each story to life!

Bringing fun literature into the classroom to discuss and enjoy allows my students to fully dive in the story.
