Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My bilingual students are great! I love being their teacher and helping them grow day by day! I love their innocence and how they are always so thankful for the little things like a simple sticker. They are always so grateful! They teach me to appreciate more.
My kids are awesome!
Their excitement and motivation to learn is contagious! I know that with the right tools in hand they are capable of accomplishing a lot. I believe in them and in their ability to learn.
My Project
Most of my students are at a kindergarten reading level. They need these resources so that they can reach their potential and learn how to read! These sight word games and reading resources will get them excited to read and will engage them every day as they work in their small groups. They will learn how to read in their native language in a hands-on way.
I am excited to see their progress and celebrate with them when they reach their reading milestones!
My hope is that through the use of these resources they will reach and even exceed grade level expectations!
