My students come from diverse and low-income families and have various needs and abilities. These students walk to class every day excited and ready to learn. I am always coming up with new and improved ways to encourage each and every one of my students to try their best.
The students in my classroom need all the love and support that I can give.
If students are not engaged in their learning, it can have a negative impact on their true ability. It is my job to ensure that these students are college and career ready.
My Project
These centers will help encourage students to stay motivated and engaged. They will help my students' grow socially and academically. This is giving my classroom a variety of choices that students are able to choose and learn from throughout the year.
Young children are motivated and eager to learn when they have the ability to choose which direction to take their learning.
Hands-on games and activities keep children engaged in the learning process. Reading centers cater to children at all levels with open-ended activities that are suitable for a variety of readiness levels. Having students learn from each other through collaboration is more beneficial to each child's learning process.
