This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These are the core values at our school.

Our school is a newly created school for the 2017 - 2018 school year. My students come from diverse backgrounds and ways of life. Some struggle with learning disabilities. Others come from low income households. Despite these disadvantages my students come to school eager and ready to learn. We come together at our school to create a wonderful community of learners and leaders.

My Project

My students need new technology for our classroom. In 2nd grade my students work in learning centers for both math and reading everyday. Our class is needs some new tablets to use during our Learning Center rotations. Students will be able it practice their math and reading skill in an interactive and fun way!

During Math Centers students will be able to work on their math facts by using various apps to help them master addition and subtraction facts fluently.

In Reading Centers students will be able to access online books and other reading sites to help them improve their reading skills.
