Ours is a Title I School and like many other schools across the county, most of the children come from low income, poverty-stricken homes. Each and every child receives breakfast and lunch daily at no cost. Many live in low-income housing, hotels, and some are even in shelters. For many in my class, English is their second language and some have special needs. With that being said, they all love to come to school and want to learn. They deserve all the resources and fun we can give them.
My students are absolutely one of the most charming, and sweetest group of kids I have had the privilege of teaching!
These kiddos come in the door ready to learn and have fun. They will laugh, cry, hug, giggle, play, and learn all in one place: their classroom. Therefore, I am eager and ready to help each of them achieve their dreams.
My Project
As the year is coming to an end, we want to reward our students with achievement certificates for our end of year celebration. I would also like to send each of my students home for the summer with a cute bag that holds a new book and writing materials that I am requesting to enjoy during the summer months.
My students have been absolutely amazing this year and I would love to end the year with an awards celebration, as each and every one of them deserve it!
Kindergarten is such a fun year but it is also one of the most important years of a child's educational journey. They have worked very hard and have exceeded our expectations. I am also requesting a certificate for each students that states that they have completed kindergarten! Please help me give them a celebratory ending to a great school year!
