Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Poverty affects my students. One hundred percent of our students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. Although some children have many challenges in their lives, they are resilient and capable. My kindergartners are enthusiastic, thriving when they are actively involved through the use of hands-on activities. The classroom is their learning lab to discover, experiment, and practice their skills. At home, some do not have adequate educational resources, so they should have them at school.
Working side by side with my students brings me joy and it brings them pride.
Our classroom family works hard to achieve our scholastic goals, and your help in this process is appreciated very much.
My Project
Summer is just around the corner. Please help my students to keep their skills sharp over the vacation months. With these Summer Bridge Activity Books, students can work independently or with a family member to keep learning at home. The Summer Bridge Activity Books are designed to be interactive and engaging. Each page is jam packed with colorful activities to keep young minds thinking & working. Let’s prevent the “Summer Slide” and help close the achievement gap. This award winning summer book will help children retain and maintain their literacy and math skills.
