My Project

I have an awesome group of first graders who have been working very hard this year. They love to explore and engage in hands-on learning. I would love to send them off at the end of the school year with a sand bucket filled with tools to keep them learning and exploring throughout the summer break.

My hope is that my students will spend time with their families exploring nature and being creative while they practice the skills we have learned throughout the year.

The dice will be used to play math games. The sunglasses and bug nets will be used to explore the outdoors. Then, they can use the bug magnifier to make observations while using the pen and notebook to write down their observations! The jump rope and bubbles are to help the kids continue to exercise throughout the summer months. The stuffed animal will be their exploration and reading buddy.

My students will be genuinely excited to receive these items that will keep them motivated to learn all summer long!
