My students need these items for our summer program that helps students continue learning and not lose what they learned during the school year. This program is innovative and doesn't use worksheets. WE need dominoes, letter cubes and more.
Smiles, laughter, and clapping, gluing, cutting, coloring, stomping feet..the sounds you hear when you walk in my classroom everyday. Hands on learning is the best way to reach all students regardless of ability or background.
This Title I inclusive PPCD/Pre-k program includes 13+ kids with a variety of special needs and 25+ students from the general population coming together to explore their world and work towards loving to learn.
I create an individualized program for every student who walks into my room because I see the potential in every student regardless of background knowledge, family income, or language. This is where students begin to love learning! I love going to work everyday and seeing how each student progressing weekly, monthly, and yearly. With your kind donations I can help a variety of students learn, grow, and be ready for kindergarten!

BISD has an amazing innovative summer program to keep kids engaged in fun learning activities. This program offers parents a free program so they can continue working.
I have included fun learning manipulatives to provide students engaging lesson plans.
I have included word and letter dominoes to promote writing fluency and spelling. The letter unifex cubes will help students engage in reading and spelling in order to create words in a fun way. This will engage all students in learning because they are building and playing to learn. I have included different kinds of blocks so students can engage in building and planning. We will be building different kinds of things in this program to promote planning skills and to see how things work. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with these students during a fun summer program. With new kids and a new grade comes the need for new items! These students need to be ready for first grade and these items will help them have a good start to first grade.
