I teach 25 of the most amazing hard working students that give 100% in the classroom everyday! They love completing hands-on activities that keep them engaged in learning. These wonderful fun loving children appreciate everything they receive and strive hard for success in the classroom at all times. All of my students receive a free breakfast and a free lunch at school. Most of them are part of the schools backpack program that provides them with food for the weekends.
My Project
Today’s modern technology offers unlimited programs to help enhance student learning in reading, math, and other subjects that are needed for student success. Chrome books offer opportunities for students to work on their level at their own pace. In order for students to become successful in the classroom, they need a variety of learning strategies offered to them. One of the best ways for students to learn is by the use of visual aids. Once a lesson has been taught the Chrome books allow students to experience virtual field trips. Math and reading apps allow students to work on their area of need and helps increase fluency. This makes their learning more individualized. They can also work on skills that are above grade level. This year students will even be talking state testing on the computer. With the way technology has advanced this day and time students need to have access to the web and all the unlimited activities it offers for students. By having chromebook in the classroom it will help students gain knowledge, do research, increase fluency, and read and learn about so many things that they may never be exposed to. Chrome books have basically become electronic textbooks.
