This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and need small group instruction to differentiate their learning. I will use the rug to meet with a smaller group of students to instruct them at their level. This is very important in a Kindergarten classroom!

My students need a rug to meet for differentiated instruction so they can learn and grow!

I will use small group instruction daily in my classroom during centers. I will meet with a small group of students on the rug and practice skills needed in reading and math.

My students love this time of the day because they are given more attention in the smaller group. They also develop confidence when they are learning on their own level! These materials will be a great asset to my students growing in reading and in math!
