This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Where are my glue, scissors, pencils and agenda? Well let's find them!
I am the luckiest teacher on Earth.
I have been given the opportunity to teach and foster the love of learning to a wonderful and amazing group of 6 year old children. My students enjoy coming to school every day because they love to be challenged with new learning experiences. They are eager learners who enjoy listening to stories with their friends. I love to teach new topics, which is great, because my students love to learn and discuss all the new things they are taught in class. Fortunately, for the students, they attend a Title I School that is located in the inner city of Chicago. This means all of my students qualify and receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
I am asking for a set of super-handy storage sacks. These sacks would be placed over the back of my students' chairs. These sacks would be used to put essential supplies inside them. These sacks would help by keeping my students' desks clean and clutter free. The sacks would also allow all of their materials to be right within reach. Besides placing small supplies like scissors and pencils in their sacks they would use the pockets to place their agenda and their own personal leveled readers.
Any donation made to this project would make my students extremely successful throughout the school year.
By helping my students learn how to protect and keep their materials well organized you are helping me create a safe haven classroom. This project may seem very small but it will change many students' lives.
