My students need Clipboard Dry Erase Boards, Pen Pal Holders, Dry Erase Markers and Magnetic Dry Erasers to use during independent and group work in flexible seating areas.

Our classroom is full of bright, eager to learn students who regularly feel the effects of the poverty in which they live.
My students attend a Title I school where 58% of them are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch, and many of them live with a single parent. They love to read and learn through the use of technology! I hope to inspire a love of learning as much as possible in the classroom to offset any socioeconomic stresses they may feel.
My Project
These supplies will make a difference in my student's learning because it will allow students to keep all learning materials needed in one place. Students frequently work in different flexible seating areas around the classroom, and will be much more successful with a clipboard to use as a sturdy surface as well as a dry erase board (attached) to record their thinking and work through problems. I recently mentioned to my students how nice it would be if they had these Clipboard Dry Erase Boards, and their eyes lit up with excitement! Their love of learning is truly inspiring!
These materials will allow students to find success working around the classroom in a manner that is conducive to their learning styles.
My students are most engaged and successful when given choices in their learning. These choices often include different projects in which sitting at a desk is not conducive to student success. Flexible seating has been a proven benefit to my classroom, and these materials will allow students to become even more independent and successful!
