Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in an integrated co-teach classroom setting in the 6th grade in Buffalo, NY. Each student in our classroom enjoys learning, although the style and environment in which each student learns may vary greatly, we incorporate a variety of learning strategies and work to meet their individual needs. Through these various learning styles, we are building experiences and supporting the community and school. Supplies should not be a worry or a stress for our children and their families.

My Project

These supplies will make the difference in our integrated co-teach 6th graders, by making sure that each student has the materials they need to succeed. The students won't have to worry that they aren't prepared with a pen, pencil, hi-lighter or calculator because it will already be ready for them. These supplies take the stress away from the student and let them focus on their education.

Students benefit from using the same Texas instrument calculator all year long, while preparing for assessments through out the year.

Hi-liters will help all students focus on breaking writing prompts into easy to understand sections in order to understand.
