You know the saying, "The future is in my classroom." I noticed that the students had the basics but I would love to branch out to get my students excited about our classroom learning environment. My classroom is filled with 25 brilliant children, who come from a close-knit, rural community. My children are brilliant in many ways. Their brilliance shines in their enthusiasm for learning, their compassion and support for others, and in their courage to embrace every day of learning and make it their own. The children in my classroom know that their differences are celebrated not only by me but by their classmates. My students have formed a classroom community that recognizes that when we bring our differences together and support one another, then we brilliantly shine.
Since the future is now, I would love to teach every one of my learners to work toward their fullest potential.
I can't do it without your support. My project will reach students where half of them come from low-income families that barely have enough to afford school supplies. I would love to upgrade their learning environment with your help.
My Project
In the trying times that we are currently experiencing, my students are giving it their all. I teach in a rural school in which many parents are essential workers or parents who are seeing their hours cut back or are being laid off. All the while, my students continue to persevere through this. I want to give them a small reward for all their hard work.

I want to purchase the basic school supplies to help elevate the financial burden that many of my families experience as school resumes. I am asking for class sets for three-subject notebooks, folders, scissors, glue, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, markers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, whiteboards, headphones, and a carrying case for their materials. My goal is to get these materials to the students now in order to say thank you for your hard work during our distance learning time.
