Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at my school are dedicated to success!
All of my students come from low-income homes, but that does not stop them from pursuing their dreams.
Many of these students face daily challenges at home and outside the classroom. However, once they step foot into the school they are all goal-orientated and will not let anything come in their way of succeeding! They use these daily challenges to drive them even closer to their goals.
My students work hard no matter what level they are at. They are not afraid to take risks, ask for help or challenge themselves. My students are true scholars!
My Project
School as we know it is changed for the foreseeable future. Many students are either learning from home on a daily basis or at minimum a couple of days a week. Many of my students come from low income families and do not have access to all the materials they would need in order to feel and be successful while learning from home.
Basic school supplies such as pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, etc would provide my students with the basic supplies they need in order to be successful at home.
With your donation, we hope to supply every 6th grade student with these basic supplies!
