Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are from a Dual Language School in Newark Delaware. All of my students are second language learners, either English or Spanish, My kindergarteners students are full of enthusiasm and eager to learn. With the Pandemic, we have gone from remote learning to hybrid learning to remote learning again.
We have been adapting our learning to be use in class and virtually.
I love to teach my students and see them grow. Sadly, I have not met all my students in person but I have had the opportunity to sing, dance and enjoy them through Zoom sessions.
My Project
I have been teaching in hybrid model (some students in class and some at home) for the last six weeks. For the next six weeks, however, my school is moving to remote learning and then back to hybrid. The Teacher Pay Teachers gift cards is to buy digital material to reinforce skills learned in class, virtually or face to face. In addition, buy materials that will help families understand new concepts.
We have transition from one model to the other and we will continue to do so until this Pandemic is over.
The transition Backpacks will be an excellent resource that is ready to travel from remote learning to hybrid learning, from school to home at any time. It is important, specially these days, to feel and to be ready for any changes. They will be successful everywhere
