This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Posting success criteria in the classroom has many benefits. Firstly, it helps students understand what they need to do in order to achieve success in their learning. It provides clarity and direction, ensuring that students know exactly what they are working towards. Secondly, it helps students to self-assess their work and identify areas for improvement.

When the criteria for success is clearly posted, students can evaluate their own work against it and take measures to improve.

Finally, it helps teachers to provide feedback that is specific and constructive. When the success criteria is clearly posted, teachers can give feedback that is targeted towards achieving the desired outcome, making it easier for students to understand what they need to do to improve.

The TV will be essential to displaying the criteria students will be focusing on in every CORE subject. Writing success criteria is very time-consuming as well as requires a designated area to be stored. The TV screens will be useful for a variety of reasons. First, They will display the criteria and save me time not having to recreate them each day, saving me time to focus on other parts of the curriculum. Second, they will also serve as the storage of the success criteria standards as I will be able to save them onto a drive and easily pull the standards I need to display. Lastly, I will be able to show students the videos linked to the lesson on a monitor visible to the whole class.
