Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing group of children hungry to learn. They are wonderful, loving children. They do well with structure and organization.
Some of them are having difficult childhoods.
They have many special needs but are eager to succeed. They enter the classroom each day full of energy and excitement for what is in store for them on that day.
One hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are working on improving student outcomes by reaching out to DonorsChoose.org.
My Project
The materials I have requested will ensure every student who enters my classroom on the first day of school has brand new beautiful school supplies. These supplies will help them stay organized and successful and give them an exciting first day of school.
The folders will ensure great communication between home and school.
The students will have a place to store classwork and homework neatly. The students will be so excited when they walk to their desks for the first time and see all their school supplies waiting for them. This will ensure they have a great first day of school!
