My Students

"We all shine with our own small light; together we blaze like the sun."

We are a 4th grade classroom of Shining Stars.

We enter each day with a happy heart and a joy for learning.

I teach in a school which is located in the Pacific Northwest, but have the opportunity to teach students from all around the world. I teach in a school which is a learning community for approximately 500 students. We learn daily from each other's unique backgrounds and work together to make an amazing team of learners.

My Project

Currently I am blessed to have a 1:1 laptop classroom. Many of my lessons (including most of our tests) include the use of technology. Our laptops come with a mouse track pad, but using it is not only frustrating sometimes, but also slowing the students down during lessons.

I feel having a corded mouse and stylus will allow the students to process and submit the needed information much easier!

I plan to assign these tools to my students each year, so having a class set will not only support my current students, but also my future students as well!
