This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I school in Louisiana where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
A silhouette machine will allow for us to personalize the kind of student recognition and acknowledgement that we provide. By being able to create laser cut vinyl labels there is no limit to the ways that we can celebrate each individual child. With a Silouette, kids can see their own names front and center in fantastic fonts, instantly elevating ordinary water bottles, clipboard, or t-shirts.
While kids, and people, love to earn freebies, when these freebies are personalized it takes the recognition to an entire new level.
Kids will feel pride in their accomplishments, knowing that their individual efforts are really seen and appreciated. Help us celebrate what makes each student one of a kind by giving our classroom the power to personalize!
