My students are energetic, academic students who love to cook and help the school. They are eager to use technology in the classroom to help make their lives easier. The students love to take skills they learn from core classes and apply them to real-life problems posed to them in my classroom.
The students are very creative and enjoy using problem-solving skills to create new food items and crafting items.
Applying skills with technology and hands-on activities makes learning come to life!
My Project
For this project, I am asking for 4 sturdy kitchen tables for our classroom kitchens. The students will be able to work without having the tables wobble so much that it makes them mess up their work! The tables will be great for when we do table settings and eat our meals after a culinary lab.
I am also asking for a diffuser and peppermint essential oil that will help students relax in class.
In middle school, I see so many of my students struggling with anxiety, so I am hoping that the diffuser will help ease their anxieties and calm them down.
