My Project

Our students do amazing things every day; from learning to read to organizing prom, they put in efforts to make themselves and the people around them better. They are an example to us all in the power of persistence and community advocacy. Although many of our students struggle to overcome a disability or harsh life circumstances, the halls ring with laughter and joy (and the occasional unbridled YAWP).

These materials will help students access the education they deserve.

A simple set of pencils, pens, and a good quality backpack will set them up to start the year knowing that they are cared for by their community. Although it seems small, many of our students do not have the means to purchase quality, new school supplies as the year starts. More so than any one academic lesson, this donation will let our students know that someone cares for their education and wants them to start their year right.
