My Project

I am lucky to have my favorite artists with me every day! My goal is to create an ideal art studio space for them at our school. An ideal art room has some attributes that are very different than those needed in a standard classroom. After procuring beautiful large art tables, it has been a struggle to maneuver and work safely with primary grades' 'classroom' chairs. The added table space is invaluable, but it is making it difficult for students to move around the art room and my lower grade students are way too small for the chairs. Stools will also provide a safer environment. Some of my artists like to stand while working. Stools can be pushed under the table and not have and edge if my young artist would like to stand. Students won't be able to pinch their fingers like they do with the backs of chairs while in close quarters.
