My Project

I am lucky to see a variety of students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. It is special to me that I can help students learn self-help skills, emotional regulation tools, writing and coordination strategies to help them across their academic continuum. Students that I see for occupational therapy range from students with autism, emotional disturbance, developmental delay, and motor coordination disorder. These materials will help me teach my students how to zip zippers, tie shoe laces, learn to help self-regulate, along with provide writing resources that I can use and provide to teachers to help implement in the classroom. To me, collaboration with teachers and helping students integrate learned techniques in to their classrooms is of great importance, and I hope to help them better achieve their goals with these tools and resources.
