My Students

The students in my class are very hard working and have a great interest in being academically successful. The students have a variety of challenges, but never let that get in the way of their achievement.

The community is urban with a very diverse population.They are very active and enjoy lots of movement.

They are avid readers and enjoy positive feedback. Many of the students are raised in single parent households and receive free and reduced lunch based on their socioeconomic status.I strive to make their school experience positive for them to help foster a long lasting love of learning.

My Project

Students in middle school love to move and are just getting used to no longer having recess or other break in the day. This project will help students who want to learn, but struggle to focus because of their unique learning needs.

Stability cushions will give the students an opportunity to move in a way that will help them to be successful in the learning environment.

Please consider helping these bright students stay focused and increase their mobility at the same time. This is a very dynamic group of students who have a variety of learning needs and stability cushions will really help them achieve their learning goals.
