My students are imaginative and creative. They work hard and take pride in their education. Their families work hard to provide what they need to succeed and get the most out of their time at school.
My students always deserve the best out of their educational experience.
As their teacher, my goal is to help support them in reaching their dreams and goals. I strive to provide lessons, activities, and the environment to help them grow to their greatest potential.
My Project
My students need the opportunity to explore and build using materials that are designed to build STEM concepts. I plan on using STEM kits throughout the day in my classroom. Students will have the chance to use the materials individually and in small groups.
STEM resources foster the science, technology, engineering, and math skills that are critical for the future of my students.
The Brain Blox building planks will be used to create a hands-on approach to learning. Students will use the materials in both a free design approach and with a set of task cards where they are instructed to create a specific structure. To help students learn to regulate their time, we will use the Learning Resources Magnetic Time Tracker in their small group work. To help stengthen student understanding of the NGSS standards, I'll use the SuperScience STEM Instant Activities along with our classroom lessons. Thank you for considering my project.
