We love your 6th grade Language Arts class, especially when you read to us and we read a book together as a class. I loved PICTURES OF HOLLIS WOODS. When can we read again? I know you told us that as soon as someone can buy us the book SURVIVING THE APPLEWHITES we can read again. Why does our school have so few books? Is it that we don't have much money or we are so crowded? We will give you some of our lunch money if it would help! Love Sarah Dear Sarah: I love reading to you too. I am glad you liked our last book. I am hoping a donor will buy us the book SURVIVING THE APPLEWHITES so we can read this book to the class as well. I know I have gotten all of you excited about the book, the character 'Jake' who seems to give everyone trouble and how he seems to find himself once he starts a new school in North Carolina. I know middle school is a hard transition for some students and this book just might help some students plus it is a 'really good book'. I am hoping a donor will find it in their heart to help us out. Dear Donor: SURVIVING THE APPLEWHITES is a wonderful book to read to middle school students. I am asking not for me, but for every one of my "Sarah's" to help get us 35 copies so we can read them as a class.
