My Students
We are a TK -5th grade school. We have fantastic, innovative teachers and a supportive tight - knit community. Parents volunteer in the classrooms and throughout the school. My students are creative, open-minded, and enthusiastic learners.
My students come to school energetic every day and eager to learn.
They work well together and love sharing their ideas with each other. They learn a lot from the discussions that they have with their peers. They love learning through the use of technology.
My Project
My second grade students need a mac book pro to use for research projects. It can also be used to run educational programs and access ebook curriculum for math and reading.
Macbook pro computers make learning easy and fun.
The macbook pro will be used to enhance technology in the classroom using programs like flipgrid, green screen, read naturally, and student centered portfolios. My students can use the flipgrid program on the macbook pro to make videos to describe their learning and the classroom projects that they are working on. The students can also use the macbook pro to run the program GoNoodle in which we can emphasis, physical activity, brain breaks, and mindfulness techniques.
Having an new computer in the classroom will bring excitement and easy access to using technology for instruction and research based projects. The macbook pro will make it easy to access our online curriculum and instruction for our districts newly adopted language arts and math curriculum.
