Students Need Help to Stay Focused During Centers!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I currently teach at a title one school in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Where all the children receive free breakfast and lunch. I have 20 wonder, active students. They come from all different backgrounds. And each of them bring something new to the classroom every day. They have a lot of energy and a willingness to learn. They love to get up and move around, read their library books, and do math activities. They enjoy their reading centers and getting on the computer. They take pride in their work and are happy to show it off!
My Project
Wobble chairs allow my children to get their energy out in a fun and safe way and will allow them to stay focused on what they are learning. During center time, they are allowed to pick where they want to sit. Having this alternative seating, it will allow them to be comfortable and focused. I notice a difference when they are able to "get the wiggles out" during center time, I get better quality work from them.
And most importantly, I notice that the students are more engaged in their center.
These products will help my students to be engaged and more productive. And they seem a lot happier when they are able to move and work at the same time. I have a few items that they can use and any addition to our class would be great!
