My students need basic school materials for learning. For example, we have some dry erase markers, but we do not have erasers! My class will benefit from having hands-on experiences with money and a cash register.
My students are a fun-loving group. Although they would rather play than do work, they are capable of many things. My students must learn in a way that is fun, interesting, and stimulating to their minds. They often become distracted and would rather do other things and keep to themselves.
Our school here does offer minimal materials, but most materials are bought out of teachers' pockets, including my own.
It becomes hard to grab student attention and keep them attending in order for them to learn best. I wish to have their interests stimulated and make learning fun and functional for these students who I love and adore.
My Project
My class needs basic learning supplies to enhance their learning. To accompany my safe corner mat, students need big pillows to catch their uncontrollable movements. My class will highly benefit from hands-on learning materials like the cash register, sight words, various sensory things, and basic school materials like dry-erase markers. We are always looking for basic materials during lessons, activities, and free time.
These high school students need hands-on learning materials and real-life experiences in the classroom to benefit them in their future.
Learning real-life skills inside the classroom will prepare them for after graduation transitions. My students will be thrilled when they see new materials come into the classroom.
