Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My fabulous students lare from Cincinnati, Ohio. We are an Urban Title I school with approximately 100% receiving free/reduced lunch. My students work hard and deserve every opportunity to be successful in the classroom.

We are currently learning in a virtual environment, so I would like to receive funding to use Peardeck's Individual Premium to make my Google Slides interactive and meaningful for my kids.Peardeck is a google app, and is EXTREMELY user friendly for the elementary students to use.

I can create interactive assignments and see their work in real time, or assign student paced learning opportunities to check later.

My Project

We are currently teaching in an uncertain time, but I do know one thing is certain...children love to use interactive tools that are meaningful and easy to use. Peardeck fills the bill on this and allows me to create interesting lessons and quizzes without sacrificing quality and losing student engagement.

Peardeck in a Google Slides Add-on that allows teachers to create meaningful lessons that students can interact with by using draggable tools, drawing tools, and text features to answer questions and demonstrate understanding.

Students can participate in teacher-paced learning activities, or student-paced learning activities.
