My young students love to sing and dance. Since they are young musicians that are currently learning how to read and perform music. Many of these materials the students are currently using are old. Even though the subject matter is the same it would be nice for students to be using more current music reading materials.
These students love to learn how to read and perform music but come from low income families so they are unable to do fundraising for their classroom materials.
As an educator, I love to give students many different opportunities to learn how to read music. Also, these students use this knowledge of reading music to make them better and more effective performers in their community.
My Project
I am requesting some new music theory books and materials to help young singers learn how to read music. In today's world, students need new and exciting ways to learn how to read music. Some of the materials that have been selected will help students learn how to effectively learn how to read music.
Students will use the new materials during class to expand their knowledge of music vocabulary and note reading.
There are some new and exciting books and materials that can be used effectively in the music classroom. Sometimes it takes some new materials and ways of presenting lessons that get students interested in learning about music.
