Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range from p-k to 5th grade. They come from a variety of backgrounds with the majority being Hispanic. My students enjoy music as much as I do. They come to music each day ready to sing or learn a new song. They are always eager to start and they like taking new challenges.
My students do not have many resources and that is why I want to provide them with more opportunities for growth within music.
They will learn to create and explore.
My Project
My students will be excited to be able to use this amazing instruments and supplies for our school performances throughout the year. I am asking for two ukeles, boomwackers, handbells, snares, and soprano recorders to be able to use during our performances. We will need the rhythm flashcards to practice before the shows and the disinfectant to maintain them after each performance. The snare will be make the performances very exciting and fun. All these instruments and accessories will help me create a very creative and adventurous atmosphere where learning will be taking place. I want to thank you in advance for the support!
