This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school serves a diverse, high-poverty population with 98% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. My students are resilient, hardworking, and hilarious! Each of my students is a mathematician, scientist, and artist. It is hard to keep up with them!
They are excited and inquisitive, which makes a great match for success.
Many students do not have supplies. This program gives children from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the district. My energetic students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.
My Project
All my students want to learn is be to creative! They are unable financially to pay for many items since this is a low socioeconomic school where the majority gets free lunch. My students will develop financial literacy skills and use Cricut EasyPress 2 heat press and Cricut Maker Machine Bundle to create shapes, characters, letters, manipulatives for math, cards for their family, classroom projects, team uniforms and banners to name a few. The Cricut EasyPress 2 heat press and Cricut Maker Machine Bundle is an amazing electronic cutting machine.
We will be able to create financial and literacy centers for the classroom.I believe it will really help the students that need the hands-on lesson experiences, to make learning enjoyable for them.
The Cricut EasyPress 2 heat press and Cricut Maker Machine Bundle will enable these types of opportunities and allow me to bring their learning to life! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
