Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school serves students in grades ETK-8 span. We are a Title I from the inner city public school and our students are mostly English language learners. Our school's mission focuses on leadership skills with an emphasis on critical thinking and 21st century skills.
I work with energetic and motivated first and second graders who are ready to explore.
I would love to introduce my students to STEM education because highly engaged lessons with high interested students will make learning fun, meaningful, and l
My Project
Have you ever had to research something and copy everything down instead of simply printing it out and highlighting salient points? Have you ever had to draw a picture or run to Costco or CVS because you don't toner in the printer? My students of 30 energetic bunch of first and second graders are in need of some more toner so that I can be prepared to print out their colorful stories.
I am requesting one magenta toner and one black toner to complete the set of 4 toner cartilages in order for the classroom printer to go in action again in the new school year.
In the past few years, my students have been great writers of stories and poems. Because of the classroom printer, they were able to share their printed stories with their peers and families. The students will learn that they do have a voice and that they can be true authors and storytellers. My students in the past have learned to be successful as young authors. With your generous support, my new bunch of students will continue to thrive with more creative stories.
