My students attend a Title I Arts Integration Based Elementary School. Our school is unique in its diversity (our families and staff represent countries from all over the world!) and our use of arts integration strategies in the classroom.
I am excited to build a strong classroom community with my new second graders!
We will meet daily to share our hopes and dreams, get to know each other better, and set personal goals for our work together.
My Project
Second Grade is an exciting year for learning, making lasting friendships, and gaining independence. We will use arts integration strategies, cooperative learning, and group building techniques to help each other learn and grow.
I look forward to offering my diverse second graders choices for where and how they sit and work in our classroom.
I believe offering more choice will meet the various learning needs in my classroom and help students build independence. By offering these and other seating options students will be able to focus in a space that works best and aim each day to reach maximum potential.
