Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a SES ( Social Economic School). Many of our students are free or reduced lunch. A big percentage of our students come from bilingual homes and families. They love school and come each day to explore, think and learn.

The teachers and I teach all our students to be life learners and citizens in our community and world.

We teach and bring in the real world activities and experiences into our learning and teaching classroom. This helps students make connections from the learning into their real world connection.

My Project

These iPads ( technology) will allow students to use them in extending and reinforcing their learning in math, writing and reading with apps and websites. This will give students extra experiences and opportunities in the classroom. These iPads will help students connect their learning into the real word and real world expereinces.

They can also use them at centers to show how and what they are learning with pictures posted to a school blog.

They will be able to share with the campus and their families about their learning.

We want our students to be competent with technology as they move from grade level to a new grade level.
