This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Living in a small town you are bound to create life long relationships with many of your students. However, the particular group of students I am writing about shares a super special place in my heart. I taught these students four years ago when they were in kindergarten, then again two years ago when they were in 2nd grade, and now I have the amazing opportunity to have them in 4th grade. These students are truly a family that believe in supporting, empowering, and motivating each other to be the best version of themselves!

My Project

Each BreakoutEDU kit comes with two breakout boxes, seven locks, a red lens viewer, a UV light, USB, invisible ink pen, and hint cards. These kits will provide a platform for me to create engaging lessons that allow students to work collaboratively to solve problems and breakout, much like the popular escape rooms.

The kits are so versatile and can be used in all subjects.

It is imperative that I receive five kits so that I can have groups of 4 to 5 students completing the tasks. I recently attended a conference where we as teachers were given this project surrounding education facts in Florida. We had so much fun working together as well as learning facts that I still remember!
