My Students

My students are hard workers, that show each other respect and consideration everyday. My students love to learn and explore new things. They are working hard for their continuous growth in cognitive, social and emotional learning. STEM and science are one of their favorite subjects. They are able to use higher order thinking skills and engineering skills as they solve problems and come up with their own unique solutions. They reach new heights in their education as they collaborate and work together to improve their learning.

My Project

The materials will help my students take a hands-on and critical thinking approach to learning science. They will be able to look at models to discuss what those structures are used for. Then they will dissect and learn about structures and functions of the brain and eye. They will use the aprons to be able to dissect looking at internal and external structures and how those structures benefit the animals. They will also learn about fossils and patterns in the sky through a more hands on, age appropriate way. Organization is also a key to successful learning. With the chair pockets, they will be able to keep all their learning supplies where they can quickly have access.
