This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the second half of the school year is underway, it won't be long before we reach the end of the year. By the last month of school, students start to tire out and lose steam. Each year, our entire third grade team likes to surprise students with motivational notes and treats each morning for the last few weeks of school to encourage them to continue to put their best effort into their learning. The items in this project such as mints, smarties, and cookies will all be accompanied by notes for students to start the day on the right foot.

Wouldn't you like to start your day with notes like these: "You are MINT to rock today," "You are a SMARTIE pants," and "You are one smart COOKIE!"
The items provided through this project will keep students excited about coming to school each day as the year comes to a close. In past years, our students are always eager to see what note and goodie awaits them on their desk each morning. I hope we can provide this current group of third graders with the same fun and memorable surprises to end the year off great!
